Three advisors join the inclusion of LPL Financial advisers


CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, November 10, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – LPL Financial LLC (Nasdaq: LPLA) today announced that financial advisors Sam Cone, Jessica McNamee CFP®, CLU® and Grace Yung CFP® have joined the ‘Inclusion of advisors from the Company Council (AIC), which is made up of a diverse group of representatives with different backgrounds and specialties from affiliated companies and financial institutions, as well as executives from LPL.

Cone is a financial consultant with Pinsker Wealth Management in Greensboro, NC, as well as a lawyer and dedicated advocate for progressive causes within his community and state. He is a board member and treasurer of the NC Equal Access to Justice Commission and the NC Justice Center. McNamee is a director of Heartland Planning Associates, the financial planning and wealth management team located at Heartland Bank in central Ohio. She has over a decade of financial planning experience and is a coach and mentor to other advisors. Yung is Managing Director of Midtown Financial, based in Houston, Texas. She has provided counseling to individuals and families since beginning her practice in 1994, and is an active advocate and supporter of many organizations in her community.

The Advisor Inclusion Council has a direct impact on businesses
Created in 2018, the Advisor Inclusion Council, composed of 21 members, contributes to solutions for three main objectives:

  • Attract more financial advisors under-represented in the industry to help reflect the changing market
  • Help advisors overcome barriers to growth and enter new investor markets
  • Create and cultivate inclusive communities for advisors to connect, learn and share best practices

By sharing their perspectives, expertise and experiences as advisors, members of the Advisor Inclusion Council provide essential guidance to LPL leaders, informing the development of inclusive business practices that support advisors in their mission to care for their clients. Member feedback has been incorporated into several new programs and events to help attract more advisors to LPL to reflect the changing market.
