Senior Financial Analyst – ThinkMarkets

Our Chicago office is in the heart of the Loop Financial District, and is comprised of our Direction, THIS, Analytic, and R&D teams.

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our rapidly growing global workforce based in Chicago. In this role, you will manage all financial analysis and reporting across global departments. A strong candidate for this role will be familiar with working in a very fast paced environment and appreciate the responsibility of ensuring financial competence and growth.


  • Manage and maintain detailed financial and operational models to adapt and cooperate with the rapidly growing business
  • Analyze past and current data, trends and performance indicators and use this information to make effective and sound financial decisions
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement innovative and cost-effective operational solutions
  • Understand the overall impact of financial decisions based on stakeholder strategy
  • Develop monthly, quarterly and annual financial forecast reports
  • Perform detailed analysis and examine global cash flow, expenses and trends
  • Understand the global environmental factors that affect the business model
  • Drive finance department efficiency and collaborate with management to ensure cross-functional consistency
  • Evaluate current financial models and provide actionable goals and insights to aid in key decision making


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related quantitative discipline; an MBA is preferable
  • 3+ years of experience in a financial role; Experience in the FinTech industry highly preferred
  • In-depth understanding of the cash equity, fixed income and capital markets business
  • Experience in cash management and forecasting global budgets
  • Previous experience with Tableau, SAP and Salesforce
  • Excellent ability to solve complex financial problems and desire to find innovative solutions
  • Great attention to detail and precision in a fast-paced work environment
