NewEdge Wealth hired another team of veteran financial advisors from UBS.
The latest recruits are financial advisors Louis Bell, Stephane Bell, Marc Levitt and Jamie Wolffas well as four support staff, who serve ultra-high net worth families, business owners and nonprofits, according to NewEdge.
Luis Bell began his career in the financial services industry in 1993, according to BrokerCheck.
Stephen Bell’s debut in the industry dates back to 1968, according to his track record.
Levitt has been in the industry since 1993 and Wolff since 1992, according to BrokerCheck.
The four advisers have joined UBS since JP Morgan in 2013, according to BrokerCheck.
Luis Bell’s team managed $1.4 billion at UBS as of April 6 this year, according to Forbes.
“When advisors like the Bell Levitt Group make a move, you know it’s based on their years of experience and reflects our company’s ability to serve their clients in a unique way,” Jean Strauspresident of NewEdge Wealth, said in a statement.
NewEdge Wealth is a division of NewEdge Capital Groupwhich currently has more than $30 billion in client assets and supports more than 300 financial advisors, according to the company.
UBS also lost a team of advisors to NewEdge Wealth in February. This group managed $1.6 billion.
In the first quarter of this year, NewEdge Advisors — created in 2021 as part of the launch of NewEdge Capital Group — added a total of 10 advisors and $1 billion in client assets, as reported.
