Stifel Financial said he attracted another team of financial advisers from Wells Fargo.
Lake Heritage Management Group, which includes advisers Tim kertz, Joe hartman and Elgin rees, joined the firm’s brokerage subsidiary, Stifel, Nicolas and Cie., according to the company.
The team previously had $ 330 million in client assets at Wells Fargo Consultants, says Stifel.
The Lake Wealth Group will work from two new private client group offices, Lake Ozark and California, Missouri, in addition to the company’s existing office in Frontenac, Missouri, according to Stifel.
Kertz has worked in the financial services industry for 21 years, starting at Edward jones in 2000 and moved to predecessor company Wells Fargo AG Edwards & Fils in 2005, according to BrokerCheck.
Hartman also began his industry career with Edward Jones in 1999, and also joined AG Edwards in 2005, according to his BrokerCheck profile.
Rees started in the industry with AG Edwards in 2006, according to BrokerCheck.
Stifel also poached several Wells Fargo advisers this summer. In March, meanwhile, Stifel caught an experienced Wells Fargo executive at the head of its new independent outsourcing broker, Stifel independent advisers.
In recent weeks, Stifel has also added several senior advisors from UBS collectively managing hundreds of millions of dollars, as well as a 200 million dollar team of Merrill Lynch.
