BOSTON–(COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Integrated Partners, a national financial planning and investment advisory firm, completes a year of record growth – adding 11 teams of financial advisers totaling approximately $ 2.5 billion in assets served – with the addition of a new team of financial advisers led by Mr. Kent Welborn, CFP, CEPA, AEP, CLU, and overseeing approximately $ 130 million of assets served.
Integrated Partners ends 2021 with 160 financial advisors and 140 Chartered Professional Accountants (CPAs). With $ 3.5 billion in assets under management five years ago, ending the year at nearly $ 12 billion represents a major growth trajectory for the company and its 60 offices in 24 states.
During his 21-year career, Kent Welborn has focused on serving entrepreneurs, executives, high net worth clients and others, bringing together all of the team members needed to provide holistic financial advice, such as accountants. and lawyers. This approach reflects the approach that Integrated Partners has deployed since its creation in 1996, starting with the creation of its CPA Alliance a quarter of a century ago.
The Integrated CPA Alliance aligns two of an investor’s most trusted partners – their financial advisor and chartered accountants – and unifies them into the same team for the benefit of the client, as well as the two firms of financial practitioners. This partnership produces the best result for the customer by putting the customer at the center of this relationship.
“We wanted to find a partner organization that gave us the opportunity to grow but also reflected our philosophy – which was like finding a needle in a pile of needles,” Welborn said. “When we started talking to the integrated partners, something clicked – and as we explored all they had to offer, it suited so much that it almost sounded too good to be true. But the more we talked about team members and advisors, the clearer it became that we had found a company that really understood us and where we needed to go.
The Integrated Business Owner Solutions program has been very compelling for the Welborn team. The group has designed processes that prepare business owners for the many eventualities that come their way. The team helps create a foundation of predictable cash flow and earnings, sustainable growth, and defensible equity value through what they have dubbed the Three Elements of the Growth Strategy.
“While we are multi-custodian and ideally suited for AIRs, hybrid companies and disruptive brokers, finding Kent was special because it was such an obvious match,” said Rob Sandrew, Director of Growth at Integrated Partners. “As both sides performed due diligence, the synchronicity between our businesses became crystal clear. Ending our best recruiting year is all the more special by welcoming this team on board. ”
Besides Welborn, other team members include Will Schoffelman, Associate Wealth Management Advisor known for his client-centric mindset, and Allison Ellstrom, COO, who will join Integrated Partners.
